Gylder v0.1.0: What's New

Gylder Team·

Welcome to v0.1.0, our first tagged release. Production's been running for a while, but from now on we'll keep you up to date with each release.

Here's what's new.

DeGiro positions move with the market

Your DeGiro investments now revalue on every page load using daily market prices. Your historical performance reflects what the market actually did, not what your last upload thought it was worth.

CSV imports in 1 to 2 seconds

Upload a DeGiro CSV and you'll get a response almost immediately. The heavy lifting (price coverage, snapshot rewrite, aggregate recompute) runs in the background. We also added a "this is the full history" confirmation step so partial uploads don't quietly distort your historical balances.

One product page for everything you own

Crypto tickers, securities, and manual entries (real estate, metals, anything you track by hand) now share the same product page. Same layout, same charts, same source breakdown.

For metals and linked manual entries you also get a holdings line walked from your valuation history, plus a "use market price" shortcut next to the unit value field when you're adding a new valuation.

A quieter dashboard

The dashboard now leads with:

  • A sync banner that only shows up when something needs your attention
  • Top Movers across your buckets over the past day
  • The last five transactions across every connected account
  • A Quick Actions strip for the things you'd otherwise have to dig through the menu for

Manual entries now have a real detail page

Each manual entry gets its own product page with a valuation history table, per-row quantity, descriptions, and an inline delete. New valuations show up on your Transactions timeline alongside bank transactions and crypto trades.

A few smaller things

  • Sub-€100 unit prices now display with the precision they deserve. Silver at €2.82937/g no longer rounds to €3.
  • GDPR data exports are available in CSV alongside JSON.
  • Bank transaction descriptions that mention a ticker no longer leak into your crypto trade history.
  • Per-source breakdowns show manual entry names with a "manual" tag, instead of "Unknown".
  • The Bitvavo connect form mentions the API-key activation email so you know to check your inbox.
  • Recent Activity on the dashboard sorts newest-first now.

What's next

Enable Banking is still in sandbox while we wait on live PSD2 access. Once that lands, banking flips on for everyone with the next release. Property and mortgage tracking is in design too.

Thanks for being here for the first one.
