Gylder v0.2.0: What's New

Gylder Team·

We've been working on bringing your home into Gylder. Until now, the app could tell you what your investments and bank accounts were worth, but for most households an important line on the balance sheet is the house, and the biggest liability is the mortgage attached to it. This release closes that gap, alongside a round of pricing and dashboard polish.

Houses & mortgages

You can now track your home alongside the rest of your wealth. Add a property in one flow, attach one or more mortgage parts (annuity, linear, interest-only), and we'll project the balance month-by-month for the lifetime of the loan.

  • Lifetime home chart. Balance and equity stacked over time, with the top edge tracking your property valuations as they evolve.
  • Honest day-one paid-off %. Tell us your current balance and we reconcile against the theoretical schedule, so the number on your dashboard matches the number on your bank statement.
  • Multi-part mortgages. Common in NL (main loan, renovation escrow, bouwdepot), handled as first-class parts with their own rate, term, and tax-deductibility.
  • Extra repayments and bouwdepot drawdowns. Log them as events; the schedule re-projects automatically.
  • LTV stat with refi nudge. When loan-to-value crosses 90%, we hint that a refinance might unlock a better rate.
  • Localised EN / NL throughout the property and mortgage UI.

Pricing improvements

  • Same-day security closes. Investments revalue at the European close (22:30 UTC) instead of waiting for next-day data.
  • Smarter DeGiro imports. Historical prices fill in inline as your CSV imports, so charts work the moment the upload finishes.
  • On-demand crypto backfill. Linking a manual crypto holding kicks off the candle history immediately, with a "fetching" placeholder while it lands.
  • Precious metals continue to refresh daily on a tight schedule.

Dashboard

Numerous bugs fixed, such as: the headline net worth now matches the last point on the chart, bucket percentages add up correctly when you carry debts, and the Investments total stays in lockstep with the sum of positions on its detail page.

What's next

Enable Banking goes live the moment our PSD2 access flips on. We're also opening up the property module to feedback over the next few weeks. If you've added a house and something doesn't match what your bank shows, send us a note.
